Country of origin: NORTH MACEDONIA Rice has been grown in the Kočan region since the 4th century BC. The area where rice is grown has extremely favorable natural conditions, which include relief, fertile land and a rich hydrographic network, and there are thermal water pools, which is unique in Europe for areas on which rice is grown. Kočan rice contains proteins rich in essential amino acids. It is a good source of B vitamins, iron, phosphorus and magnesium and is GMO free.
