Red dry wine Wine of controlled origin Region: Tikves Alcohol: 14.5%
Rustic Vranac matured in oak barrels, with an intensely dark ruby color and a recognizable aromatic complex of blackberry, cherry and caramel, reflects the restless temperament of this variety. This representative of the Balkans, grown in the heart of the Tikveš vineyard, proudly bears a name that is synonymous with a real local Vranc with a rich taste and potential for aging in the bottle. Best served at 15-17 °C.
Compact, almost opaque dark, with a purple sheen. "Purple" is also on the nose!?! In other words, it is extremely youthful freshness of dark fruits, blue plums, blueberries and sour cherries with good spiciness... You can feel concentration and some warmth (13.5%), but also a real wine character! In my mouth I was greeted by freshness, density and drinkability, characteristics of a good Vranc. Balance of good structure, harmony of dryness and extractiveness with crispness of acids. Full body and lasting taste in the mouth, not necessarily supported by still slightly greenish, but pleasant tannins. Dnevnik Vinopija - https://vinopija.com
